There are three great passions in my life: Jesus Christ, my family and friends, and chemistry.  My utmost goal in life is to live in humble obedience to whatever God has called and serve Him wherever He has placed me.  I have a Ph.D. in physical chemistry, and I am currently an assistant professor at a regional university.  My general research interests include vibrational spectroscopy, polymeric materials, energy storage devices (e.g., lithium-ion batteries and fuel cells), and confined systems.   I very happily married to an awesome girl and I have two children.
